Once upon a time, on the edge of a sunny meadow, there stood a little tree named Tully. Tully was smaller than the other trees and had the shiniest green leaves you could imagine. Every day, he listened to the birds talk about the places they’d flown over mountains, across rivers, and through bustling towns.

“Oh, how I wish I could travel too!” sighed Tully.

The tall oak beside him chuckled. “Trees don’t travel, little one. We stay put and watch the world come to us.”

But Tully didn’t stop dreaming. One breezy morning, a big gust of wind rushed through the meadow. Whoosh! It lifted Tully’s smallest seed high into the sky and carried it far, far away.

Days later, that seed landed beside a sparkling pond in a quiet park. Soon, a tiny sprout popped up and there stood Tully’s little seedling, waving its baby leaves at the ducks.

And though Tully never left his meadow, he smiled every time the wind whispered past. Because now, he knew a part of him was out there… traveling the world after all. seedling
